The survey reported, 83% of small businesses were able to respond to customer queries more quickly once they had deployed mobile technology, 58% processed orders faster and 70% of small businesses could process orders faster when using Wi-Fi hotspots, the fastest form of mobile internet.

Marketing Director Simon Howitt reported in SME Web, that small businesses in the UK now possess over four million mobile devices between them and suggested that this trend is set to continue. He says it is essential for small firms to maximise staff productivity at all times, especially during the economic downturn.
