Solsoft is a Microsoft Gold Partner and has more qualified engineers and Microsoft-validated competencies than any other IT support company in the area. What does this mean to customers though, and what is the benefit of choosing a Gold Partner over a Certified Partner?
There are three levels of Microsoft Partnership - depending on the level of competency and certification of an individual partner, these are:
- Microsoft Gold Certified Partners
- Microsoft Certified Partners
- Microsoft Registered Partners
Microsoft Gold Certified Partners have passed the highest level of requirements from Microsoft and have demonstrated the most robust, efficient and scalable implementations of Microsoft technologies in demonstrated enterprise customer deployments, or an on-site Microsoft assessment. Gold Certified Partners have access to additional support services not available to Certified Partners which in turn enable Gold Certified Partners to deliver significant advantages for critical client support situations.
There are currently over 35,000 Microsoft Partners within the UK, but only about 3% are Gold Partners. Partners at this level have the closest working relationships with Microsoft and are best qualified to deliver high quality solutions to customers. Solsoft is a Gold Certified Solutions and Service provider in the South West of England and holds more competencies and accreditations than any other IT support company in the area.
A key differentiator between Gold Partners is the competencies held. Competencies demonstrate the level of skill and specialisation in a given area. Solsoft brings expertise to businesses that very few IT support companies can equal. Whilst there are many Microsoft Gold Certified Partners in the region, Solsoft are qualified to be able to work on any aspect of an organisation’s IT Infrastructure and hold seven core competencies:
Unified Communications Solutions, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Networking Infrastructure Solutions, Mobility Solutions, Security Solutions, Licensing Solutions and Information Worker Solutions
