Solsoft Technology, Bristol are the first company to offer permanent roles to graduates from the University of the West of England’s internship scheme. Solsoft provide IT support and solutions to over 200 companies and charities across the South West and South Wales and are the most highly qualified Microsoft Gold Partner in the region.
The graduates, Stefan Mikic and Laurence Ho, will be joining the Sales Department as Internal Account Manager and the IT service department as an Infrastructure Support Technician respectively.
Solsoft’s Managing Director Mike Ralston said:

Laurence Ho said :
‘I have enjoyed working at Solsoft very much, it has been challenging and rewarding at the same time.
Working at Solsoft has given me a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and learn new skills. The internship has also allowed me to me to further develop what I learned at UWE.
Solsoft has now offered me a permanent position and the Graduate internship has definitely been a major help, especially when it has been so difficult to find a Job this year.’

Whilst at Solsoft, I have had the pleasure of working in a dynamic and rewarding environment. From the very start I was given the opportunity to experience working in different business areas such as service delivery, and existing client/new customer business opportunities. The latter has been especially interesting for me personally as I am now being trusted with more responsibility and managing my own set of accounts.
I receive constant training, support and feedback from the senior members of my team which has contributed greatly to my development. Additionally, with the type of consultancy service Solsoft offer there is always something new to do and new challenges which require a unique approach. I am glad to have been offered a new contract and am currently working on several new business opportunities which will enable me to develop my own client portfolio.’
