Background:
Solsoft were initially contacted by UKSH with a view to the procurement, deployment, project management and asset management of IT in all of their medical centres. After Solsoft had completed the infrastructure commissioning and project delivery work, UKSH commenced a Managed Service contract with Solsoft in order to provide a high standard and level of centralised and managed support for their diverse and geographically separated workforce.
Solution:
Support provision includes full 24/7 proactive management of servers and the on-site infrastructure with help desk facilities for their employees to call to obtain ad-hoc support. With the 24/7 proactive management the systems and networks are always maintained and working to optimum performance levels. Staff at the centres have access to Solsoft’s IT Help desk, remotely or if working within one of the centres and through the helpdesk have access to a team of qualified technical personnel from first line support, senior engineers, IT Manager through to Technical Director, all of whom have a broad spectrum of relevant skills.
In addition to the standard Managed Service support provided by Solsoft, additional project management, project deployment and Virtual CIO services are provided by the Solsoft Technical Team who work closely with the senior management team and board members.
