PES are employment specialists who offer an extensive range of services, designed to minimise a company’s business risks and ensure that all people issues run smoothly, efficiently and cost-effectively. Solsoft have been assisting PES with aspects of their IT requirements for over three years.
Background:
The various departments within PES operate shared goals and budgets. The company is experiencing considerable expansion and so an IT strategy linked to a stable and scalable IT infrastructure was necessary to underpin the expanding business processes.
Solution:
Solsoft provided support on a flexible hours basis for over two years before it was mutually agreed that the time was right to move forward to a Managed Service (MS) offering. The advantage of the MS is in allowing PES to have complete control over their IT spend and the budget throughout the year. IT spend is now more predictable and Solsoft’s managed monitoring system enables downtimes to be minimised and diagnosis and remediation to be swift.
Additionally, Solsoft source all the IT equipment, such as laptops for the consultants and ensure that mobile communications are always available. PES has moved office again to new, larger premises and Solsoft managed their cabling throughout. There was no unnecessary downtime throughout this process. PES and Solsoft hold regular review meetings to ensure that both companies are fully aware of each other’s business needs.
