Client Description:
Cadbury House is an independently-owned Hotel, Health Club and Conferencing and Banqueting facility about 20 minutes from Bristol. The organization has begun a £16.25m development of the site with the expressed aim of becoming the premier independent Hotel and Country Club of its kind in the country.
Background:
Solsoft has been working with Cadbury House for the last 18 months, assisting with the planning of the various stages of their development and implementing a completely new IT infrastructure.
Cadbury House has state-of-the-art technology for each of its three business centres to make viewing availability simple, booking easy, communication smooth and timely and payment effortless. Solsoft was responsible for implementing and connecting the technologies together to support the overall business plan.
Owner Nick Taplin had a vision of how IT could be used to enhance customer experience, and Solsoft worked with him to implement this strategy.
It also became apparent that due to the intensive travel and meeting schedule of senior management, email communications would have to support these ever more mobile executives.
Solution:
Solsoft has been working with Cadbury House to tight deadlines to implement the comprehensive IT strategy. In addition, we have upgraded their messaging platform and smoothly introduced Microsoft Exchange 2003 to the organization. Solsoft also configured a range of connectivity methods to provide and ensure maximum flexibility.
Now, staff can seamlessly work using wireless devices while on-site and also home PCs, mobile phones and PDAs when on the road or at supplier meetings. With a development of this size and a project so complex, being out of contact for just 15 minutes is not an option.
Solsoft continue to support and develop the IT infrastructure in line with organizational developments and ongoing phases of the on-going building project.
