The Meningitis Trust improves the lives of people affected by meningitis. They are the primary UK provider of professional services and community-based support for people affected by meningitis, helping thousands of people every year.
Background:
The head office in Stroud has 60 employees. The Trust required the help of a specialist IT support provider to proactively support the users and the business. The Meningitis Trust also needed to expand and maintain their network to cope with the increasing demand of a growing business. Historic problems with Citrix was causing unreliable access to IT resources for remote workers..
Solution:
Solsoft worked with the Meningitis Trust to migrate to a Terminal Server 2008 platform. A standard printing environment deployed across remote users was also implemented. The Managed Service enables the Meningitis Trust to have complete control over their IT spend and the budget throughout the year. IT spend is predictable and Solsoft’s managed monitoring system enables downtime to be minimised and diagnosis and remediation to be swift.
